Since its inception in 2012, DCPSL Futsal League (Previously Jouons Futsal League) has become a league that caters to Washington's youth, in a time when little soccer is played due to the restriction to outdoor leagues. The league has grown to include over 3 age group divisions; and played at premier indoor facilities in the district. It has been held at the Lowell School (2012, 2013 & 2014), Stoddert Elementary (2015) and Columbia Heights Education Campus ( 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019), it is slated to include The Maret School in 2020.

Redefining recreation soccer

The league is developmentally structured to encourage and build self-confidence in the player and its team. It focuses on promoting small-sided games, individual player development, group cohesion, creativity and the enjoyment of the game is not on winning games but rather on the way it’s played. We believe it is important for our parents, coaches, and players to embrace this philosophy as it is an important foundation of JFC.
